Shaped Harmonics keep releasing new music on regular basis, and
this time they present Dunaewsky 69, electronic project of Alexander
Gladun from Kiev, Ukraine. As with all SH releases, the material
here is very melodic and a bit simple, but that’s what makes
this stuff beautiful. It’s not about DSP or glitch, but
about melodies and emotions. Although Gladun has been previously
involved in death metal and grind core, he’s produced a
worthy electronic album very suitable for Shaped Harmonics. The
first track Altered States opens with a dreamy delayed melody
and...

Latest release from Moscow's Shaped Harmonics. This time - debut
album from electronic duo out of Siberia (yes, real Siberia).
After a few CD-R and MP3 releases, Stereo Modus have prepared
this CD, full of crunchy rhythms and soft melodies. This stuff
could easily end up on labels like Toytronic or Worm Interface,
and influence of Gimmik or Plod is quite visible. The atmosphere
is very positive here, and most of the material is very relaxed
and dreamy, even sleepy. For those who like crunchy yet melodic
idm, this is the...

Debut album by SP (short from Supremus Plastice), also known as
Peter Zinoviev (Moscow). Being a fan of Kraftwerk and Orbital,
SP tried to recreate the classic electronic sound and to combine
it with new technologies. After 5 years of experiments he came
up with this CD for Shaped Harmonics. The tracks on this album
were produced using music software and old analogue equipment,
which gave the material some additional warmth. Traffic Plan sounds
like a mixture of melodic idm and electro, and may remind to some
material of Toytronic perhaps. Analog electro basses, warm pads
and string, and on top of it some...

Many fans have been awaiting this album for a long time, and it has finally arrived. Novel 23, or Roman Belousov in real life, is possibly one of the few Russian artists whose work is always much anticipated and well received. After many compilation appearances and three albums on different labels around the globe, Fly Through The Feelings is released on Roman's own Shaped Harmonics. Musically this is... |

Debut album from ambient duo out of St. Petersburg. Vlad and Elena
were already strongly connected to music scene of Russia before
becoming Syntetika. Vlad was a local DJ and Elena, who's a classical
pianist, was member of the famous Fizzarum project. The most important
thing about this album and Syntetika in general - beauty and harmony
of sounds. Their music feels almost like stepping into the most
perfect world of nature. While all their tracks combine different
elements of electronic music, the result is a very soft and beautiful
ambient music, which gives listeners amazing trip of magical soundscapes...

Both artists need no introduction to the fans of Russian electronica,
with releases and appearances on labels like Art-Tek, Bip-Hop,
Merck, Neo Ouija, Toytronic, Pitchcadet. This EP is the debut
release of Shaped Harmonics (and the only vinyl release of the
label), which came out in 2001 and quickly became a hard to
find classic...
